When my daughter, Savannah, was born with severe brain damage due to oxygen deprivation during birth, my wife and I wanted to seek hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Also called HBOT, it is extremely expensive, and the amount she needed was far beyond our means. However, many friends within the Las Vegas wedding community and abroad had thrown us fundraising events and given us donations. We were able to raise enough money for 2 months of treatments. Although they were unsuccessful for our baby girl, we still felt so indebted to so many who have given to us so selflessly.

When Wish Upon a Wedding presented this opportunity for us to donate our services for a couple under special circumstances we could not pass it up. Finally, we can give back after being given so much. When I met Tammy and Cameron to film their Love Story, I was so intrigued with their kindness to me and happiness with each other. Their activeness in the disabled community is inspirational, and it was an honor for me to be part of such an important day in their lives. Like most of my past couples their wedding was not the end of our relationship, it was the beginning of our friendship.

Although we were able to give Tammy and Cameron our services, we still feel like we owe so much. I guess this will be a start 🙂
